Bluebonnets:

Mom loved bluebonnets very much.  Sometimes during the summer/spring we would head out to North Lake (not far from Carrollton/Farmers Branch area) and go to see the bluebonnets.  Mom loved to go there and have a picnic.  So we would load up the car with the ice chest and other items. Then we would lay out a couple of blankets and sit out there on the grass for our picnic surrounded by bluebonnets.  She loved that so much.  Sometimes she would lay there and take a nap.  Today, December 4, 2023 would have been her 94th birthday.  She has been in Heaven now for 7 years.  I really hope there are bluebonnets in Heaven just for her enjoyment!
