Remembering Mom

Several years ago while I was there visiting Mom and UJ, I got them both a badmitten racket.  The burrowing hornets that were burrowing in the 2"x4" boards on the frame on the patio concerned me, that they could get stung.  Usually they would fly around and then go into one of the holes on the boards.  The next time I came back, Mom was sitting on the patio talking to me, and she had a racket next to her.  A hornet showed up and she instantly nailed it with the racket while talking and didn't miss a word in her sentence.  It was very funny and I wish I had that on a video clip.  Mom used to shoot rabbits that were messing with her flowers in her garden with her BB pistol.  She was a good shot too.  Mom, I really miss you!  Love, John
