Remembering Mom

Mom, as I am here now viewing this site on August 14, 2017 approx 9 months since you left us behind, I am missing your regular phone calls to me here at work.  I wish so much that I had called you more often although I did call you often enough, but you called me much more as I told you that you could call me here any time you needed to.  And you always were short on conversation because you said you did not want to interfere with my work.  I so much long for another conversation. Maybe even to pray with you one more time. You do not need prayer any more since you see the Lord face to face. I realize that one day, when that Day comes, that you will hear His voice and will rise and I will be caught with you to meet the Lord. We do not know as of yet what we shall be, but we know that we will be like Him. As it says in the Scriptures. I long more and more for that day to arrive. No more waiting on your part. You are now with little Richard whom you always grieved about losing. I remember the dream you always told us about how you and Richard were walking down a walkway which came to an end and continued as a path. You told him he had to go on ahead alone and he told you he didn't want to go without you coming. You told him he must go on ahead now, and that you would come later. Then soon after you lost him. Well, now you have joined him. Also, Grandma Anna Fay is there with you too. You are probably all staring down here at all of us crying idiots wondering what is the matter with us. We should be rejoicing for you. I am now. Love, John
