Jacqueline Jewell Thomas, 58, Springfield, passed away January 3, 2015 in Mercy Hospital.

Jacqueline was born February 25, 1956 in New York, New York to Charles Simmons and Dorothy Corea.

Family members include husband, Remous Thomas; daughter, Kieta Jewell Thomas; grandson, Terrence Lemale Clay, Jr.; mother, Doris McBroom Correa; father, Charles Simmons; sisters, Patricia Correa, Traci Correa, and Sissy Simmons; brother, Charles Anthony Simmons Jr.; grandmother, Jewell Dixon; grandfather, Joe Dixon; uncle, James Simmons and his children, Evon, James, David, Darrell, and Tyrone Simmons; nephew, Charles Anthony Simmons III; niece, Morgan Nelson; aunts, Vivian and Terry McBroom; great aunt, Laura Starks; great uncle, Wentworth Starks; cousin, Reene Starks and her husband, Markie High and children Antonio, Tonisha, Tonish, Lando, Tomari, pretty Tony; cousin, James Starks and family, Lynette, Maurice, and James Jr. Starks; cousin, Wentworth Starks and family, Mitzy, Justin, Maria Starks; cousin, J.B. and Pat Golden and family, Kevin, Anthony, Terrence, Debra, Diane, and Kenny Golden; niece, Angelina Marie Cobbs; sister-in-laws, Brenda Clay and Yvonne Billingsley.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday January 17, 2015 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St.
