Sylvia Hillyard Pannell

My goodness, as a young costume designer whose first faculty position was at SMSU, my gratitude for Gaylen's support, help, friendship, and knowledge of the costume design business is enormous. She was a generous mentor to me, a faithful friend, and an absolute delight to know and with whom to collaborate. I have missed her for the many years since I left Springfield and I miss her more now. Goodbye Gatlen, and thank you for everything!!!
