I have so many great memories of Jolinda from high school. I have told my boys stories about driving around with Jo in that crazy Scout. Who else but Jo would have a speaker system on their car?! You'd be surprised how often that came in handy! One hot day she was taking me home and we drove through a short but heavy rain shower. Jo figured out that if we turned around we could go through the rain shower again, then we had to turn around again and go through it once more. We kept turning around so we could drive through the shower and followed the rain for several blocks. When we made it to my house we were able to warn my dad with the speaker that the rain was coming. We both felt like we had found our own personal prize that day. It was simple but a lot of fun! I am thankful for the memories of sleepovers, pom-pom practice in your driveway and driving around with Jo. I am most thankful for the feeling of laughter I have when I think of her. She was very funny! I wish we had kept in touch. I know there is nothing I can say to make this terrible time better but please know I am praying for you.
