Message: Was taken back to see Trudy in the Obituary section of the newspaper today. Wow, I am so sorry for Barbara and the entire family. Trudy and my late Mother Anna shared very similar paths in life. Both born in Germany and after WWII came to the US with their husbands who they met during the war. Both had 3 children, two boys and a girl. Both lived in Springfield, Mo and worked together at Lily Tulip for years. While working there they met and developed a deep and lasting friendship that lasted till the end of life on earth and now they will continue their friendship reunion with God in Heaven. Both Trudy and Anna were Angels on the Earth. Good hearted, kind, generous, pure of heart and spirit. My Father and I visited Trudy on two occasions in the recent past and always always enjoyed her company so much. She was the most gracious hostess. Always had coffee and treats and we always left with tokens of her love. Her friendship to my Mother and Father and our family was a treasure and meant the world. Thank you to her in Heaven for all she did for our family and her fellow human beings blessed to have known her. With our sorrow to the family. Heaven has received a Very Special Angel.
