I am sending thoughts, my deepest sympathies and prayers to Sally's family and loved ones. I feel so blessed to have reconnected via the internet with my high school classmate a couple of years ago. Since then, most of my days began with an "internet coffee clutch" with Sally every morning, and we often passed many hours a day playing "Words With Friends" as we both dealt with our own health issues. Sally was an irreplaceable and constant source of inspiration, love and support. I know that I can't possibly miss Sally more than her beloved family and loved ones, but the hole in my life left by her passing is immense. I can honestly say that I've never known such a strong, loving and beautiful woman. She will always live in my heart. I would like to give a special "thank you" to Sally's niece, Tessa, for keeping an old classmate like me, whom she's never even met, so up-to-date on Sally's brave battle with cancer when Sally became too sick to communicate. Thank you, Tessa. May God bless Sally's sons, family and loved ones with comfort and healing at this difficult time. God has truly picked a rose.
