To Karen's family, we hope that you take some peace and comfort as you remember Karen for being the feisty, fun loving, and caring person that she shared with all of us throughout her life. We have been friends with Karen for over Thirty-eight years. Some were tough times, but by far, many more were great times because of the vast capacity that Karen had to brighten our life and the lives of others that she touched. We will miss her, and you can bet they're have a riot in heaven with Karen using that famous sense of humor, cracking one joke after another. God bless all of you.

The thing that I will remember most about Karen was the conversations we had about life. During the time that I was losing my first wife Nancy to cancer she was a constant presence on the phone with me, acting as a guide and coach as I went through that difficult experience. She sent cards to Nancy weekly throughout that whole ordeal. She tried to send a message of hope in a hopeless situation. She and my Dad Larry were there for me at the funeral and helped me to cope with a whole new chapter of my life. When Kimmie and I started talking, Karen turned to me one day and said that she was my next wife, even before I knew it. Once she met Kim, she told me "that girl could create a riot in an empty house." (An endearing quality of Kim's I might add.) She and Larry danced at our wedding, attended holiday gatherings, and provided constant guidance and love to Kim, our son Chase, and myself. I miss her already. I miss her ability to give guidance, care, advice, and comfort. I miss her quick comebacks and the way she adjusted her glasses to let you know what she was really thinking. (HA!) RIP, Karen. I will never forget the conversations we had and the love we shared.

Our sincerest condolences on the loss of your mom. She was a wonderful woman who could always make you laugh. We always like confusing people with our names being the same. The "Real" Karen Stone will be deeply missed.
