William Joseph Hall

William "Bill" Joseph Hall, 80, passed away August 17, 2026 at Springfield Villa in Springfield, Missouri.

He was born September 17, 1945 to Theodore "Roe" and Esther Mae (Sims) Hall in Yukon, Missouri.

Bill was united in marriage to Carolyn Ruth Siegrist on March 4, 1966.

Bill proudly served our country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years in the grocery warehouse industry and later in life operated his own electronic business.

Bill came from humble beginnings to become the most devoted husband, father, caregiver, provider and influencer to his incredibly loved family, and many friends who got to know his ambitious personality. He enjoyed visiting with people, teasing and enjoyed life. He will truly be missed.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers and their wives Dean (Margie) Hall of Tyrone, Missouri and Dewain (Hazel) Hall of Houston, Missouri, step son Ronnie Nelson, Springfield, Missouri and great grandson Malachi Cagle, Rogersville, Missouri.

Bill is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughter Rebecca Hall of Ozark, Missouri, sons Randy and Jeannia Hall of Springfield, Missouri and Robert Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada. Two granddaughters Megan Cagle of Rogersville, Missouri and Chelsey and Kyle Stafford of Niangua, Missouri and six great grandsons, one great granddaughter, along with many other extended family members.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home: 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, MO 65806 and a Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 pm at Missouri Veterans Cemetery: 5201 South Southwood Road, Springfield, MO 65804, with Full Military Honors.
