William "Bill" Sloan

Mr. William "Bill" Junior Sloan, 74, Pleasant Hope, MO departed this life at 9:15 AM Thursday April 14, 2011 in his home.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and owned and operated a waste removal business.

Mr. Sloan was born in Springfield, MO to Clyde and Leona (Vaughn) Sloan.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Sloan; son, Randy Sloan; parents; and sister, Dorothy Elonich.

Survivors include his children Tammy Sloan, Ron Sloan and Tina Hopper; four grandchildren, Charles, Scott, Tenena, and Colton; two sisters, Juanita and Ada; and many other family members and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday April 20, 2011 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday April 19, 2011 in the funeral home.
