Tracy "Alan" Spencer

We are deeply saddened to share the loss of Alan Spencer, 63, on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 in Springfield Missouri. Leaving behind beautiful memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

Alan was born to Leo and Lou Spencer in Battle Creek, Michigan who preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Spencer; two daughters, Amy Aguirre (Spencer) and Bethany Spencer; granddaughter Emma Aguirre; two sons in law, Luis Aguirre and David McBroom; two brothers Curtis Spencer and Gary Spencer.

Alan served in the United States Army from 1981-1995. He was a devoted Catholic and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Alan did extensive work in the Alcoholics Anonymous organization, supporting and helping others. He loved hiking, exploring, road trips, camping and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, his dogs and especially loved the adventures and time he had with his granddaughter. Alan will be deeply missed by many.

As we say our final farewell to Alan, please join us for a memorial service honoring Alan’s life on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 10 am at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
