Teresa Lynn Perkins

Teresa Lynn Perkins, 61, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on August 10, 2026, at 2:45 a.m.

Teresa was born on March 15, 1965, in Springfield, Missouri, to Garry and Linda Davis. She was a loving and strong-willed woman who loved deeply and cared fiercely for the people in her life. Above all else, family was her everything.

Teresa had a love for collecting things and enjoyed taking pictures, especially capturing the people and moments that meant something to her. She was always behind the camera rather than in front of it—she loved taking pictures, but definitely did not like having her own picture taken.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Garry and Linda Davis, and her brother, Dennis Davis.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Travis Perkins; her daughter, Amber Jacoby, and her son, Devon Perkins; their spouses, Jacob Jacoby and Kirsten Perkins; her brother, Michael Davis; and many grandchildren who will forever carry her love and memories with them.

Teresa will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her strength, love, and devotion to her family will remain a part of them always.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Maple Park Cemetery, 300 W. Grand St., Springfield, Missouri, under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
