Stephen DeWayne Edwards

Stephen DeWayne Edwards, age 61, passed away in his home in Springfield, Missouri on June 25th, 2026.

Steve was born on October 14th, 1964 to Glenda Edwards and Donald Edwards on the Elmendor Air Force Base in Juneau, Alaska. He grew up and graduated high school in Corona, California. Steve dedicated his life to carpentry and flooring installation. Steve found joy in his volkswagen bus and spent many years restoring it.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Beth Edwards and their two children; Conner Edwards and Abigail Edwards along with brothers Tony Edwards and Dave Barclay as well as close friends Doug Smith and Greg Rone along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his brother JP Barclay.

A visitation will be held on July 1st 2026 at the Herman H Lohmeyer Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm. It will be followed by a celebration of life gathering on July 11th at 6pm at Steve's home in Springfield, MO.
