Sharon Jean Fox was born in Springfield, Missouri on May 6th, 1945, to Elmer Knight and Doris Knight (Smith). Sharon departed this life on June 12th, 2026.

Sharon met the love of her life, Charles Leroy Fox, on October 7th, 1961. They had two children together, Teresa Jean Fox and Charles Travis Fox.

Sharon was a homemaker and enjoyed doing things around the house and with her children. Sharon loved crafting with her husband and also enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. Sharon along with her husband Charles, managed two Dairy Queens for several years in Greenville, Texas.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Teresa Fox; her son, Travis Fox; a sister, Katie Christian; two grandchildren, Charles Rafferty, and Charlotte McGinnis; and ten great grandchildren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fox; her father, Elmer Knight; her mother, Doris Miles; her brothers, Elmer "Pete" Peters, and Charles Guy Martin; and mother-in-law, Sarah Ingles Brown.

The family would like to thank Phoenix Home Care and Hospice for their love and dedication in taking care of their mother and grandmother. To Sherry, Michelle, Dani, and Michael: You all will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we are forever grateful for each of you.

Cremation services are under the direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
