Ruth May Hayes

Ruth May Hayes, 84, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 from natural causes. Born on May 22, 1941, in Newton, Iowa. She led a full life in her 84 years on this earth. She lived in California, Iowa, Missouri, and Texas. No matter where she lived, she made a life for herself and her family. Her beauty shone through everything she did, making her a force to be reckoned with. Her artistic abilities were limitless. She painted, crafted, and sewed. She loved to travel and create art, and she possessed an untouchable passion for life. She had the biggest heart, always lent a helping hand to anyone in need, and loved a good bargain.

She is survived by her life partner George Ramis, and her Children: Dawn Phenix, Kevin Dattola, Anna Dattola, Michael Dickens & spouse Jeanine Dickens, Jennifer Collins & spouse Cody Collins, Barbra Ramis, Matthew Ramis, Jonathan Ramis, George Ramis jr., Chris Ramis, grandchildren Thyra Buechler, Anastasia Goodwin, Christian McMillian, Joseph Dickens, Jacob Foster, Nash Foster, Dail Justice, Noble Justice, & 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother Miriam Hayes, daughter Deborah Goodwin, son John Dattola jr.
