Riley “Butch” Emanuel Spillman, age 60, of Fordland, Missouri, passed away due to heart complications and acute myeloid leukemia on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Butch was the oldest son born to Joseph Emanuel and Billie Jean Clark Spillman on September 17, 1955. He was preceded in death by both parents and brother, Marlyn “PeeWee” Spillman.
Butch is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Leger) Spillman; his daughters, Christina (Tina) and Cassandra (Cassie) Spillman; his son, Christian (CJ) Spillman; his grandson, Nicholas Spillman all of Fordland, Missouri; his sister, Rhonda Bartley of Conway, Arkansas; his brother and sister in law, Kenneth and Sheri Spillman of Galena, Missouri and a great number of additional family and friends.
After serving our country in the United States Army, Butch married Linda on April 20, 1998 and began building their life together in Missouri.
Butch was a loving husband and father and a dedicated grandfather to Nicholas.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 7th, 2016 10:00am at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery located at 5201 S. Southwood Road, Springfield, Missouri, 65804
