In Loving Memory of Becky Lynn Wilson
July 3, 1962 – February 9, 2026
Becky Lynn Wilson, age 63, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on February 9, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She will be remembered as a kind and compassionate person who brought warmth and comfort to the lives of those around her.
Born on July 3, 1962, in Spokane, Washington, Becky was the daughter of Rob and Agnes Williamson. On September 30, 1985, she married the love of her life, Jeff Wilson, in Austin, Texas. Together they built a life centered on love, partnership, and devotion, sharing 40 wonderful years of marriage. From this union came their beloved daughter, Athena Wilson, who was a constant source of pride and joy.
Becky enjoyed a fulfilling professional life, working for several well-known companies where she earned the respect of colleagues through her dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic. She formed lasting friendships throughout her career and was valued not only for her professionalism but also for her genuine kindness.
She had a deep love for both people and animals, holding a special fondness for dolphins and cherishing opportunities to swim with them. Becky was known for her gentle heart and would never hesitate to rescue an animal in distress — a true reflection of her nurturing spirit.
The kitchen was one of Becky’s favorite places, as cooking brought her great happiness. She expressed her love through the meals she prepared and the gatherings she helped create. Family functions held a special place in her heart and became treasured memories for those fortunate enough to attend.
Faith played an important role in Becky’s life. A devoted Catholic from childhood, she was baptized as an infant and remained committed to her spiritual journey throughout her life. She cherished her connection to the Church and generously shared her faith by teaching CCD classes, touching the lives of many through her guidance and example.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jeff Wilson; her daughter, Athena Wilson; her sister, Pam Muncy; and all who were blessed to know her. Her legacy is one of compassion, care, and unwavering commitment to those she loved and served.
Becky will be remembered for her gentle nature, her generous heart, and her steadfast love for family and friends. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought light, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
