Nioma "Jerry" Morse

Nioma "Jerry" (Easley) Morse, age 82, of Springfield, Missouri.

Jerry was born on February 4, 1944 in Seymour, Missouri to Charles Easley and Wilda "Billie" (Russell) Easley. She grew up in Seymour and married, then moved to Springfield, Missouri. After some time, the moved to Rogersville where she lived and built a house. She worked at several places in Springfield, hardly ever missing a day of work. Jerry passed away at the age of 82, on February 6, 2026 at the home she shared with her daughter in Springfield.

Jerry is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Billie; two sisters, Bonnie and Shirley; a brother, Gene; and her son, James.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Thompson and Sue Merritt, both of Springfield, Missouri; one son, Johnny Smith of Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Jerry requested that no services be conducted and the family is honoring her wishes.

Arrangement have been entrusted to Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
