Nicholas Gill Banner

Nicholas Gill Banner, 63, of Rogersville, Missouri, passed away on May 7, 2026. Born December 31, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Frank Raymond Banner and Flora Hastings Banner.

Nick graduated from Spring High School and attended Stephen F. Austin State University.

He spent most of his life in Houston, Texas where he had many professions. He was the manager of a Houston Trunk Factory store in the Galleria Mall, worked at CVS and Luby Cafeteria in Houston. In 2012, Nick moved to Springfield, MO and worked in the paint department and then assembled displays at RealTruck in Rogersville. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader, especially books by Clive Cussler.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Banner and his wife, Joann, their children, Timothy Banner (Ashley) and Amanda Stoll (Caleb), nieces and nephews, Roman Banner, Morgan Stoll, Levi Stoll, and Charlotte Banner, and his uncle Al Banner (Jeannie).
