Michael L. Eggen

Michael L. Eggen 69, of Springfield, Mo passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 21,2025.

He was born February 7, 1956 to Alfred and Kathleen Eggen in Jefferson City, Mo. Mike graduated in 1974 from Helias High School in Jefferson City, Mo.

Mike held various jobs including over the road truck driver for many years.

Mike is survived by his mother, Kathleen, his children, Michael, Micheal and Amy. His five grandchildren Kendric, Austin, Kiara, Kalie and Kloey. Siblings, David, Doug, Donna and Kristin.

He was proceeded in death by his father Alfred and infant son Brian Patrick.

A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family. In keeping with his wishes, Mike was cremated.

In accordance with his love of books and reading, memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Greene County Library Foundation in Springfield, Missouri

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.
