Micah Edward Newsome

Micah was born at St. Anthony’s in St. Louis County on October 23 to Kimberly Lynn Newsome and Edger Leroy Newsome.

Micah enjoyed his masonry work and traveling to various locations throughout his career. He was a man of strong faith. In his younger years, he enjoyed tinkering with vehicles, and in later years, he was a doting uncle to his nieces and nephews, sharing his passion for comic books with them.

Micah was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, and St. Louis Blues. He always looked forward to family gatherings and reminiscing about memories from childhood and adulthood.

He departed this life on September 27, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Newsome, and his eldest sister, Krystal Enloe. He is survived by his father, Ed Newsome of Lebanon, MO; sister, Emily Newsome of Lebanon, MO; sister, Sarah Newsome of Texas; and sister, Stephanie Newsome of Nixa, MO; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is now at peace with our Lord and Savior.
