Martha Scott, 63, of Republic, Missouri, passed away on December 17, 2025, in Republic.
Born on September 2, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, Martha was the daughter of William and Leona Cash. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family and carried that spirit of connection and care throughout her life.
For over two decades, Martha dedicated herself to her work at DFA, where she built lasting relationships and contributed with unwavering commitment. Her professional life was marked by reliability and a strong work ethic that earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Martha’s greatest joy came from her family. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Leona Cash; her brothers Ethan (and his wife Cindy) and Casey (and his wife Angela); her children Jacob (and his wife Dawn), Darlena (and her husband Zach), and Jessica; as well as her nephew Caiden and his fiancée Kaycee. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Kysten, Kenly, Kya, Story, Isaiah, Elijah, and Cooper. Each one held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her father William Cash and brothers Robert Paul and Glen Henry.
Martha found spiritual strength through her attendance at Cabool Church of Christ. Her faith was a guiding light in her life and reflected in the kindness she extended to others. Known for her generosity and loving nature, Martha never hesitated to help anyone in need. Her compassion left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.
In her free time, Martha cherished moments spent with her grandchildren. Whether watching their favorite shows together or simply enjoying each other’s company, these times were among her most treasured. She also loved attending bluegrass festivals, a joyful tradition that brought music and community into her life.
Martha Scott will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
