Mark Stewart Knotts,66, passed away early May 22 in his Strafford home with loved ones nearby. Mark was born December 2nd, 1959 to Paul and Pauline Knotts. He is preceded in Death by his father Paul Knotts, brother Paul Jr Knotts, and beloved wife Tamara "Tate" Nash. He is survived by his mother, Pauline Knotts, Son, Nicholas Knotts and wife Ashley, Grandchildren Ryleigh and Paisley Knotts, Timothy and Kelton Counterman, sisters, Loretta Knotts, Debbie Gann, Teresa Eveland, brothers, Timothy Knotts, Matthew Knotts, Mike Knotts.
Mark proudly worked for Nor-Don Vault Company for 45 years digging graves, operating the backhoe like an extention of his body. He was a legend in his industry. Everyone who worked around him loved to be around him. He was a devoted father and grandfather, always glad to have company or a simple phone call to say hey. He loved to work around his property, putting around on his tractor. He was often found at the lake with his family and known to pop in to see if anything exciting was happening. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Mark's Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Tuesday evening, May 26, 2026 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri.
Mark's Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday afternoon, May 27, 2026 at Shiloh Cemetery, 10254 E. Farm Road 134 in Strafford, Missouri with Andy Vowell officiating.
