Kathy Renee Long, 58, Springfield, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in her home.
She was born in Springfield to Claris and Geraldine Long. She attended Glendale High School and the College of the Ozarks. She was also a member of Evangel Temple and was involved in the Enabled Ministries of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kathy is survived by a brother, Michael G. Long, and wife Jane, niece Abigail Nelson, and nephew Seth Long; and her sister, Mavis Bailey, and husband Billy, nephews, Scotty and Billy Bailey, and niece, Jerrica Bailey.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 16, 2014 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut. Burial will be at Springfield National Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday December 15, 2014 in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Enabled Ministries at 2733 E. Battlefield #288, Springfield, MO 65804.
