Joseph Thomas Barlow

Our hearts are heavy at the passing of our beloved patriarch, Joseph Barlow.

Joe was born in Flushing, New York, on March 29, 1937 (on his dad’s birthday) to Joseph and Grace Barlow, who both preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death were his brother, Charles; his sister, Patricia; and his beloved infant son, Shawn.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jacqueline “Jackie” Barlow; and his children, Laura (Craig) Jones, Theresa (Derrick) Neal, Kathleen (Drew) Martin, and Thomas (Kelly) Barlow.

He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held at St. Agnes Cathedral in Springfield, Missouri, on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial mass at 10:30 AM. After mass, a burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri
