John Phillip Barclay

John Phillip Barclay "JP", 50 years old, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026.

There will never be another JP. He was adventurous. He loved nature, being at the river, hunting for cool rocks and arrowheads. He always had a fun story to tell. JP was loved by many, and he loved all his family and friends. But most of all, he loved his kids. He left us all with many good memories. He will be loved for the rest of our days.

He is survived by his son, Preston Barclay; his daughter, Fallon Barclay; his father, John Barclay (Barbara); his three brothers, Steve Edwards (Beth), Dave Barclay, and Tony Edwards; his nieces and nephews, along with all of his extended family, the Peek family, the Pitts family, and the many friends he had.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home: 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri 65806.
