Johanna Donovan

Johanna Agnes Donovan, 75, was born September 22, 1937 in Ft. Madison, Iowa. She went home on March 1, 2013 in her home surrounded by all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She went to nursing school to become a RN, graduating in 1962. Being a caregiver was her passion. She was a professional RN for 40 years.
Johanna was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel P. Donovan Sr. on May 17, 1978 and her son, Daniel P. Donovan Jr. on August 6, 1965.
She is survived by her children, Jeanne Combs, Ozark, Mo, Caroline “Carrie” Gaddy, Willard, Mo, Raymond Donovan, Strafford, Mo, Patrick Donovan, Ledyard, Ct, Steven Donovan, Strafford, Mo, and Betty Donovan, Willard, Mo; 24 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday March 3, 2013 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 6, 2013 in St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, in Omaha, Nebraska.
