In Loving Memory of Jane Lee Chandler (Arthur)

July 21, 1931 – April 25, 2025

Born in Springfield, Missouri, on July 21, 1931, Jane lived a life marked by strength, love, and quiet resilience. She remained deeply rooted in her hometown throughout her years.

She dedicated her life to her family, raising eight children while working tirelessly across various jobs to help support them. Her days were often long, but she faced every challenge with grace, a warm heart, and always a cup of coffee in hand. Her home was filled with the quiet charm of all her knick knacks, porcelain dolls, the gentle hum of country westerns playing in the background and on most days her singing to her tapes. She loved singing karaoke with her twin sister, tending her flowers and always looking for a good bargain. These small joys brought her peace, and they reflected her gentle spirit and love for the simple pleasures in life. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and quiet wisdom. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Ruth Arthur (Ryan), her three daughters Mary Jane, Charlene and Shnett, her son Chuck, twin sister Jean (Montgomery) and brothers Ron and Don (Arthur). She is survived by her daughter Ruth Ann, sons Frank, Dean and David (wife Linda) along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be from 1 pm to 2 pm Thursday May 1, 2025 at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Springfied, MO. Committal service will follow the same day at 2:30 pm at Robberson Prairie Cemetery 3244 West Farm Road 50, Willard, MO 65781.
