James Chapman

James Leroy Chapman, 78, of Aurora, died February 6, 2016 at Springfield Rehab Center.

Jim was born in Wentworth, MO to Harry Chapman and Loeda Robinson. He was the oldest of 8 children.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Chapman of Aurora, Mike Chapman of Neosho, Lisa McElroy of Aurora, Kristine Chapman of Lawrence, KS, and Jessica Zemler of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by his siblings, Dale Chapman, Charlotte Conner, Anita Marcoot, Linda Marcoot, and Lana Moore, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by siblings Carolyn Manley and Don Chapman.

Private family services will be scheduled at a later date.
