Frank Michael Small

Frank Michael Small, age 78, was called to peaceful eternal rest with our heavenly Father on September 1, 2026. Mike was born on August 27, 1948, in Springfield, Missouri to Nobbie T. and William Small, both of whom preceded him in death. Mike was reared by Ruby and Lawrence Owens. Mike was a devoted lifelong member and servant of Pitts Chapel where he dedicated his life to Christ at 6 years old.

Mike graduated from Central High School, after which he became a loyal employee of Kraft Foods until he retired after 25 years of service.

Mike loved his church, community, and family. His selflessness will leave an unfillable void.

He enjoyed westerns, antiques, and going for rides around town to check in on the sick and shut in.

Mike leaves behind to celebrate his life 2 sisters, Ruby Thomas and Wilma Smith; and a brother, Marvin Small. He will be welcomed home by his brothers and sisters who preceded him in death, Mary Virginia Brown, William “Billy” Small, Betty Jean Johnson, James “Jimmy” Small, Phyllis Ann Rector, John Edward Small, Gerald Walter Small, Anita Faye Callicut, Ronald Eugene Small, and Edith Norvelle Wallace.

He will be missed by a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews; Sonya, Anita, Michelle, Phyllis, Leroy, Melissa, Richard, Rosey, Stevie, Tracey, Tina, William Leroy, Mikey, Johnathan, Mary, Nobie, Melissa, and Hope to name a few.
