Delta Lazaro

“Tudie” Delta Sue (Brooks) Lazaro at age 73 passed away surrounded by family in Springfield on March 7, 2014. She was born August 17, 1940 in Ash Grove, Missouri. Tudie graduated from Central High School in 1958. At a young age she found a love for Singing. She loved to bowl, fish, shuffle board and cook for family and friends while playing cards at family gatherings.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, “Polly” Lavera Hyde and Connie McCall; brother “Toto” William Brooks.
She is survived by her husband, Chrest Lazaro; sons, “Skip” Terry Welsh, Rick Welsh and wife Gail; step-son, Kevin Lazaro and wife Christine. Brother “Sonny” Fred Brooks and wife Joyce; sister, “Tink” Wanda Donovan and husband Richard; grandchildren, Shawn Welsh, Josef Welsh, Justin Welsh, Sabrina Welsh, “little” Kevin Lazaro, and “MeMe” Ashley Marie McCollegan and Jennifer Pierce; great grandchildren, Colton Jones, Amarie Parrish, “little” Ricky Winder, and Hayden and Ricky Pierce; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
