In Loving Memory of Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Cline
July 15, 1959 – February 15, 2026
Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Cline, age 66, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. Born on July 15, 1959, Debbie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and compassion.
Debbie was truly young at heart. She attended high school in Bowlegs, Oklahoma, where her lifelong passion for equality began. She loved telling stories about being a cheerleader & Homecoming Queen—stories full of friendship, courage, and the joy of growing up.
She had a warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. In her younger years, Debbie’s home was always open, being a place of refuge for anyone needing it, even in the middle of the night.
Throughout her life, Debbie found happiness in simple moments—spending time with loved ones at the river, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be cherished forever. She found special joy in watching her beloved “Laniecakes” succeed in music and college life, always cheering her on with pride and love. She was equally proud of her daughter, Nicole, whose strength, compassion, and accomplishments brought her deep admiration.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Virlee Cline; her brothers, Billy, Bruce (Otto), and Brian; her daughter, Nicole; her granddaughter, Lanie; and her son-in-law, Jeremy. She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Cline; her sister, Tammy; and her grandparents, Helen and Rufus Coffman, and Chauncy and Ruth Cline.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held February 26th from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Springfield Botanical Center at Nathaniel Greene Park, 2400 South Scenic Avenue, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. This will be a casual, come-and-go visitation with potluck-style food, and a few words will be shared at 2:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to wear bright colors—especially pink, Debbie’s favorite—and to remember her love of butterflies, symbols of beauty and transformation that she cherished. Any floral tribute orders must be delivered to the funeral home no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2026
Debbie will be deeply missed, but her light will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to have known her.
