Danny Keith Manweiler, 45, of Springfield, MO, died in his home, July 22, 2025. He was born January 5, 1980, in Springfield, the son of Ron and Paula (Barbee) Manweiler.
He entered active duty in the Army in 1999 and was trained as an M1 armor crewman. He was honorably discharged in 2003, having achieved the rank of Specialist (E-4). He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal for injuries sustained while deployed in Iraq.
Following his military service, he earned the Associate of Applied Science degree at Ozarks Technical Community College and worked as a computer programmer in Springfield. A cat enthusiast, he volunteered for the Humane Society.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ron Manweiler, and his mother, Paula Manweiler. Danny leaves behind his siblings, Niki (Manweiler) and Greg Smith of Evington, VA, and Rick and Michelle (Henry) Manweiler of Buffalo, MO; five nephews, Isaac and Levi Smith of Evington, VA, and Henry, Harrison, and Hamilton Manweiler of Buffalo, MO; and one niece, Hattie Manweiler of Buffalo, MO.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at The Family Cemetery:
41 Cassity Road Buffalo, MO 65622.
