Cleveland Bennet Davis Jr., 75 yrs old, passed away at 1 :25 pm on September 4th, 2026 at Cox South Hospital Springfield, MO.

Cleveland was born September 9, 1950 in Bronx, NY to Cleveland Bennet Davis Sr & Gensie Davis. He attended Alfred E. Smith Highschool & graduated Class of 1968. Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1969, where he served in the Vietnam War on the USS Ranger Carrier Ship.

Cleveland retired from Company Car Limo Service in 2008. He loved jazz music, fishing, & computers.

Cleveland was proceeded in death by both his parents, 3 sisters & 3 brothers.

Cleveland was survived by his brother Clinton Ronald Davis, 5 nieces Laila Davis, Penny Davis, Cheresa Ford, Sherina Mohammad & Latisha Perez. 5 nephews Brenden Davis, Lavon Smith, Raymond Davis, Ronell Davis &Jason Perez. As well as a host of great nieces, great nephews, extended family & friends.

Cleveland will be transported to Mount Hope Cemetery in Westchester County , New York, NY and laid to rest with his mother Gensie Davis.
