Clay Stevens, age 27, passed away February 18, 2013, was born May 10, 1985 to Randy Stevens and Katrina Kovarik-Stevens.
He was a life-long resident of Springfield, MO and a 2003 graduate from Kickapoo HS. He graduated from MSU with a BFA in French and Chinese. Clay was at his happiest outdoors, in the woods of Arkansas, mountains of Colorado and walking his puppy, Isis, in the hood.
He is survived by his parents; brother and best friend, Zachary Stevens; and, the love of his short, but passionate life, Krystal Lowry. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Juanita Kovarik and Barbara Voegele; by a large extended family with several aunts, uncles and cousins, who he loved so much. He also leaves behind his good buds – you guys know who you are.
The family is planning a celebration of his life on Saturday, February 23, 2013, from 2-4pm in the family’s home. Please come celebrate with us.
In lieu of flowers, a Clayton Stevens Memorial Fund has been set up and can be donated to through any US Bank branch.
