Charles Robert Duke

Charles Robert Duke, born on September 7, 1954, in Springfield, Missouri, departed this world on May 28, 2025, in Republic, Missouri. He was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend, remembered for his kindness and unwavering spirit.

Charles is survived by his brother, Sam Duke; his sisters, Mary Perry, Joann Duke, and Rose Duke; his niece, Elicia Montgomery and her daughter Elizabeth Kettle; his other niece Katrina Duke; his nephew, Robert Duke; and his dear friend, Billy Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Samuel and Leona (Armstrong) Duke, who instilled in him the values of love, respect, and compassion.

A visitation will be held on June 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The burial will take place later that day at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, beginning at 1:00 PM.

Charles's legacy will live on through the lives he touched, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
