Caleb Anthony East

Caleb Anthony East, 23, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri, surrounded by his loved ones. Though his life was far too short, the impact he made on those who knew him and loved him will remain lasting and meaningful.

Born on July 22, 2002, in San Bernardino, California, Caleb was the beloved son of Amanda East. From an early age, Caleb was known for his adventurous spirit, bravery, and determination.

Caleb was a proud graduate of the College of Business at Missouri State University, earning his degree in Risk Management Insurance in May 2024. He was building a promising career with Barker Phillips Jackson (BPJ) Insurance Firm, where he was deeply valued by both his clients and colleagues. Known for his intelligence and strong work ethic, Caleb approached everything he did with dedication and integrity.

Caleb had an infectious laugh that could light up any room, and he cherished time spent with his friends and family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and cared deeply about the people around him. Even in his passing, Caleb’s selflessness continued, as he was an organ donor.

Above all, Caleb’s greatest joy in life was his fiancée, Maia Greiner, the love of his life. Whether traveling to new places, exploring the outdoors on hikes, or simply spending time together at the park with their dogs, Caleb was happiest by her side. He was excited for their future together and the life they were building. Their love was evident to all who knew them.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ace East; his father, and an angel baby. Caleb is survived by his beloved fiancée, Maia Greiner; his mother, Amanda East; his brother, Andrew East; his grandmothers, Pam East and Robin East, and many other family members and loved ones who will forever hold his memory close.

Caleb will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, his unwavering love, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed, always.

A memorial gathering open to family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 15, between 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
