Bruce Stoops

Bruce D. Stoops, age 74, passed away July 10, 2024 after a brief illness.

Bruce was born in Springfield, Missouri. He graduated from Central High School, also attended SMS. Bruce last worked at Springfield Glass Company as a glazer for 48 years. He served as the President of local Glazer & Allied Trades for 2 terms. Bruce served in the Air Force for 4 years and flew in and out of Vietnam. He left the Air Force with a rank of Staff Sergeant. He married Paula Grubic in 1973.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Paula; daughter, Stephani and her husband Kenny; Grandsons, Jace Berryhill and his wife Tannith, of New Mexico, Cameron Trammell and his wife Ashley, of Springfield, Missouri, Ian Stoops and Aiden Rowe, both of Springfield, Missouri; brother, Jerry Stoops and wife Pam, of Florida; sister, Marcella Stienman of New York; along with many nephews and nieces.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; Roscoe and Ethel Stoops; 4 brothers and 1 sister.

A military Graveside Service will be held for Bruce at a later date.
