Brenda Kroeger-Piper

Brenda Kroeger-Piper, 66 years old, of Thornfield, Missouri, passed away on November 8th, 2025, at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri.

Brenda was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on November 8th, 1959, to Bob and Anne Kroeger.

She was a Christian and often volunteered at her church. She was a talented artist and worked in that field.

Brenda was united in marriage to Gary Piper of Omaha, Nebraska, on October 5, 1985, at a ceremony in Omaha.

Brenda was an active volunteer at the Humane Society and loved her time there, as well as time with her own dogs.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Anne Kroeger; her husband, Gary Piper; and brother, Rob Kroeger.

She is survived by her brothers, John (Audrey) Kroeger of San Diego, Mike (Peg) Kroeger of Omaha, and Ken (Safaa) Kroeger of Omaha; Gary’s children and grandchildren, Greg (Stephanie) Piper, Grace Piper, and Zachary Piper of Iowa, and Kelly (Jeff) Whitehead of Texas; her “furry children” as she called them, Colton and Sam; as well many nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.

Burial will take place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri, at 1:00 PM following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to your local animal shelter in Brenda’s name.
