William Allen "Bill" Williams who we all know by Bill, Uncle Bill, Poppa. A very loved and cherished father, brother, son, uncle, husband. A hardworking man who did what he could for his big family that he loved and held dear to his big heart. Bill also knew and had quite a few friends; whether they were bowling together, coworkers at yellow cab where he worked for over 30 years, or the neighbors he has befriended over the years.

Bill was born on June 9th, 1965, in Springfield, Missouri where he also passed on January 2nd, 2024, at home with some of his beloved family; due to his ongoing battle with stage 4 small-cell lung cancer. Bill had also accepted Christ into his heart.

Survived by his mother Lefa Dohle and his wife Bev Williams; has been married since June 22nd of 1996. Also survived by his children Keya Applegate, Adam Nelson, Frankie Nelson, Steven Nelson, Benjamin Williams, and Matthew Williams, along with his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren. Survived by brothers: Bobby Williams, Michael Williams; Sisters: Teresa Creason, Karen Casteel. Preceded in death by his father William L. Williams.

Through the years Bill has always enjoyed playing the lottery and maybe thinking about his winning numbers while catching some big fish on the riverbank.

The big and growing family of Bill is heartbroken to lose a piece of themselves, but they know he is no longer in pain but also know that he is now watching everyone that he loved and held close to his heart. Bill will more than likely be drinking coffee with his brother Ronald Williams and sister-in-law Tina Williams; while also Taking long 18-wheeler trips with uncle Kenny as Bill drove for a long while on the road for work.

Bill will be missed by many but never forgotten.
