Obituary for Willard W. Brown
Willard Wallace Brown, the son of Walter and Roxey Cloney Vey (Driscoll) Brown, was born June 10, 1937. He passed away Thursday at 3:42 A.M., May 30th, 2019 at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. His age was 81 year, 11 months, and 20 days.
Willard was born in Rockbridge, Missouri, Ozark County, and was a longtime resident of the Republic area. He retired as a professional truck driver after 45 years on the road.
Willard and Patsy Samuels' were united in marriage on December 3rd, 1959 in Greene County, Missouri. They were privileged to share 59 years and six months together.
Preceding him in death was his parents, six sisters-Goldie, Elmie, Mable, Jewell, Rosie, and Louise; five brothers- Edgar, Eddie, Edward, Alvia, James, and granddaughter- Heather.
He is survived by his wife, Pasty, daughters and son in law, Glenda and Mike Guinn, and Pam Mueller, one son and daughter in law, Stan and Tammy Brown; six grandchildren- Ryan, Erik, Amber, Stephanie, Nichole, and Michelle, nine great grandchildren- Ameila, Charles, Erika, Gage, Mason, Caiden, Bentley, Hunter, and Braelyn, one brother- John Brown of Springfield and several nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 pm to 3 pm Sunday June 2, 2019 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday June 3, 2019 with Pastor Duane Goforth officiating in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ash Grove Cemetery Ash Grove, Missouri.
