Obituary for Vontae Lee Baskin
Vontae Lee Baskin, 3 years 9 months and 5 days old passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Vontae was born February 27, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri to Amber Springer and Bobby Baskin. Vontae had many medical challenges from the very beginning of his young life. Even with all these challenges he was the happiest boy and everyone who met him would fall in love with him. He was one of the strongest persons you would ever meet and will always be a hero to his family and friends.
Vontae is survived by his parents, Amber Springer and Bobby Baskin; his four year old brother Aiden Dazel Springer, twin brother Dontae Lawrence Baskin, one year old brother Keynan Orlando Baskin and six year old sister Andresha Esther Hahn; his grandparents Steve Springer, Vickie Springer, Fernanda McGrath, Rosa Blacksure and Leroy Baskin; great grandparents Sandra Springer, Ethel Baskin, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am Tuesday December 10, 2019 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel with Pastor Kevin Carson officiating.
