Ty Reese-James Glossip, 17, departed from our lives unexpectedly on December 30, 2023, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Ty was a beacon of light, his infectious laughter and genuine kindness touched everyone he encountered. Born on March 14, 2006, he brought immeasurable joy to everyone who knew him.
Ty is survived by his mother, Tiffany Glossip, father, Frank White III and older brother, Derrick Glossip. Ty's spirit of love and compassion extended beyond his immediate family to a circle of aunts, uncles, younger cousins, and friends who were like family. He had a remarkable ability to forge deep connections with his friends, whom he cherished as brothers and sisters. Ty understood that family isn't just about blood ties, but about the bonds we create through love, support, and shared experiences. In his 17 years, Ty lived life with passion and an unwavering sense of loyalty to those he held dear. His infectious energy and vibrant personality drew people to him, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his time with us was too short, the memories of Ty's laughter, kindness, and warmth will forever live on in our hearts.
A Celebration of Ty's life will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri. A Graveside Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, 7171 J Road Strafford, Missouri 65757.
