Obituary for Tonja Rochell Osborne

Tonja Rochelle Osborne, aged 58, was born November 1, 1964 in Springfield, MO. to her wonderful mother, Eva Sazone and father, Daniel Osborne, who preceded her in death. Her mother remarried to her loving dad, Raymond Sazone,
who also preceded her in death, a native of Peoria, IL, who settled in Springfield, Missouri to raise his family. Tonja was the oldest of four.

Tonja was a very loving mother to her beautiful daughter Lameeka “Creep” Jeffries and grandmother to three amazing grandchildren.

Tonja accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at the Church of Christ. She was an active participant and choir member of Greater Met Church, Springfield, MO., where Pastor Ken Lewis is the Pastor.

Tonja was a part of the graduating class of 1982 at Central High School and finished up her High School Equivalency Diploma at the MS. State Board for Community and Junior Colleges. Tonja went on to further her education and earned her Cosmetology Certification from the Academy of Hair Design in Jackson, MS. with a focus in massage therapy and muscle manipulation. Tonja also received her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification from OTC and worked with the elderly for many years, but found her most joy as a free spirit.

Tonja leaves to cherish: her pride and joy; daughter, LaMeeka Jeffries and three grandchildren: Antayia, Javarien, and Amina, all of Kansas City, MO; one sister: Trina (bruh-in-law Cedric) Williams, Sr. of Atoka, TN; two
brothers: Danny “Poo” Osborne of Springfield, MO. and Raymone Sazone of Omaha, NE. She also leaves behind a
host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and her two “road dawgs,” Lynette Armstrong and LaSondra
Hobson who she loved her family and friends dearly. Tonja was also preceded in death by her Grandma “Ginny”, Genevieve Johnson, Grandpa “Eddie”, Edward Walker, and Grandpa Jake Osborne.
