Obituary for Terrence "Terry" Anthony Schulte
Terrence Anthony Schulte, age 80, passed away January 4th, 2024, in Springfield, MO. He was born in Wichita, KS on July 10, 1943, to Harvey and Frances (nee Misuna) Schulte.
He graduated from St. Mary of the Plains High School in Dodge City, KS in 1961. There he met his wife Nancy (nee Treat.) They were united in marriage on April 28th, 1967.
Terry had a successful 49-year career in oil and gas pipeline as a bending engineer and bending foreman. He worked for various pipeline contractors across the country.
Terry is survived by Nancy, his wife of 56 years; his three daughters Rachele (Scott) Schoenherr, Holly (Frank) Schulte Kessler, and Angie (Zach) Forsythe; his cherished grandchildren Brison (Rhiannon) Schulte, Garrett, Ellie, and Preston Forsythe, and Mary Kessler; two step grandchildren Schilar Kessler and Jessica (Jaime) Aguirre; two great grandchildren Brady and Scout Schulte; and three step great grandchildren Rowan, Sade, and Mataeis Aguirre; his sisters Linda (Denis) Schulte Jalbert, Carol (Ken) Schulte Reggio, and his brother Mark (Mary) Holcomb Schulte. He was proceeded in death by his parents.
A Visitation will be Tuesday January 9th at 7:00pm at Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield with a Rosary following at 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday January 10th at St. Joseph Church in Springfield. Burial service will be Thursday January 11th at 1:00pm at St. Peter the Apostle Cemetery in Schulte, KS.
