Obituary for Tamara Baskins

Tamara Anne Baskins (Lynch), age 80 passed away in her home in Springfield, Missouri on Sunday, April 21st in 2024.

She was born on January 16th, 1944, in Fort Collins, Colorado to Donald and Helen J Lynch (Stroh). She had a Master’s degree in Education which was her lifelong passion. She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi.

In October of 1981, she married Donald R Baskins. Tamara served over 20 years as a teacher at Lakeland R-III schools. She touched so many lives and challenged the minds and inspired all who knew her. Following retirement, Tamara and Don were avid supporters and volunteers with the Springfield Library.

Tamara is survived by her husband, Donald R. Baskins, her daughters, Michelle and Melissa, her grandchildren Miranda and Kenneth and her sister Kerry Lowderman.

There will be a visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Sunday April 28th followed by a small service at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Graveside Services are yet to be determined, but will be in Granby, Colorado.
