Springfield, Missouri – Susan Cohen went home to be with God after passing away unexpectedly.
She was born in Manchester, CT to Virgil Hughes Mitchell Jr. and Virginia Lee (Boutilier) Mitchell both of Maine.
She enjoyed reading, movies, joking around, crocheting and her 2 dogs.
Susan was predeceased by her father, Virgil H. Mitchell Jr. in 2004; her mother Virginia Lee Mitchell in 2022 – both of Haverhill, NH; her sister, Colleen L. Charron of Chaplin, CT in 2002; her Aunt Mary L. Botting of Houlton, ME in 2002; and 2 uncles John W. Boutilier in 2011; and Gary Boutilier in 2022 – both of Haverhill, NH.
She is survived by 2 sons Jerry L. Cohen of Springfield, MO; Ronald J. Cohen of Boothbay Harbor, ME and his wife Juliette; a daughter Sharon M. Cohen of New Gloucester, ME and her husband Frederick W. Doak Jr.; 1 uncle, Duane J. Boutilier-Baxter of Woodsville, NH; 2 brothers, Michael V. Mitchell of Lansing, KS and his wife Betty, Duane E. Mitchell of Topeka, KS and his wife Christina; a brother in-law, Dennis W. Charron of Chaplin, CT; 2 sisters; Kathy J. Benway of Willimantic, CT; and Elaine V. Mitchell of Haverhill, NH.
Susan is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many special friends.
