Obituary for Shawn Wayne Mooney
Shawn Wayne Mooney was born on November 7, 1982 in Springfield, MO to Bill and Terry Mooney and passed away on July 24, 2022.
Shawn is survived by his long time life partner, best friend, and mother of his two children Amanda Schutten, son Damian Mooney, daughter Kailea Mooney, maternal grandma Bonnie Sanders, mother Terry Mooney, and many more family members and close friends.
Shawn was preceded in death by his father Bill Mooney, maternal grandfather Wayne Sanders, paternal grandfather and grandmother, and many other family members and friends.
Shawn loved spending time with his family, spending time and hanging out with all of his dogs, hanging out with his friends, fishing whenever and wherever he could, working on cars, and learning new things. Shawn always said that his two biggest accomplishments in life were his children Damian and Kailea, he was so proud of them. While Shawn will be greatly missed every single day, we will grieve with confidence knowing that he is no longer in pain or suffering and that we will see him and be with him again someday.
A Memorial Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:30pm, Friday, August 5th, 2022 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home: 500 E. Walnut Street Springfield, MO 65806.
