Obituary for Sharon Elizabeth Leitner
Sharon Elizabeth Savage Leitner, age 77, passed away in Republic, Missouri on Wednesday, October 28th, 2020.
She was born April 15, 1943 in Richmond, Virginia the daughter of Kendall A. Savage and Mary Bischoff Savage.
Sharon was a former member of Webster Park Baptist Church and also a life member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 963. She was interested in cooking, singing and her loved church activities.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Jacques M. Leitner of Springfield, Missouri; a son, Charles Smith; a daughter, Elizabeth Sullivan; and a step-daughter, Cheri J. VanRyswyk.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road in Springfield, Missouri 65804 with Pastor Gray Nordan officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.
